Distilled in 2012, this eight-year-old Talisker single malt has been matured in heavily peated refill casks, before being bottles as part of Diageo’s 2021 Special Releases. Aromas of vanilla, seaweed, porridge oats, briny sea water, iodine, ashy smoke and salty driftwood fill the nose. The palate offers notes of oil, sea salt, acrid peat smoke, seaweed, prickly black pepper and oak that linger in the finish.
